The X-factor has also been Kuzntesov. He hasn't produced in the past when caps flamed out in the playoffs. Good to see him out some points up.
This is honestly such a great series. I'm hoping it goes the length wit a couple more OTs. |

James, you should watch the Titanic Director's cut. There's an entire action subplot that was erased for the movie when the studio decided to market the film as "The Greatest Love Story Ever Told."
Billy Zane's character gets into a gun and fist fight with Leo as the ship is sinking. |

At first I thought you were kidding, but in the version I watched, Billy Zane did try to shoot them as the ship was sinking. As I only ever saw the movie once before, in 1998 (I assume) (on VHS) I have no idea if that was in the original cut.

I have to ask what will seem like a trolling question, but I promise I'm not...
If the Caps win and face the Pens yet again in the 2nd round only to lose again, does Ovie request a trade to the western conference? |

"Not sure how it's written by the same guy who invented Terminators, but regardless, I rate it five Leos."
If by Leos you mean Leonardo DiCaprio, and you are a fan of his work, I highly recommend The Wolf of Wall Street. Quite possibly the funniest movie ever made, despite the over the top vulgarity. |

I'm personally looking forward to the inevitable article about how the Caps can't possibly be beaten by the Penguins because corsi and PDO say so and even if they are it will be meaningless because the Caps are the better team because Corsi and PDO say so. |

Last year, the stats said the Caps were better, they deserved to win, and they got unlucky and lost.
This year, the Penguins are the statistically superior team. I hope the Caps win, but tje Pens are obviously the NHLs best team. |

It should be a fun series. Definitely the match up that the NHL, and the fan bases, wanted. I know I'm pretty excited to see the outcome. |

James has been consistently stating the Pens are the statistically better team for quite some time but I have a gut feeling Holtby can steal this series.... hope I'm wrong.

Can? You mean like he did last season, when he was statistically much, much better. This season was his career worst by a good bit. Don't know if that's because of the Caps more generous defense this season but either way the Pens should benefit offensively.
I will agree he has a better chance at out dueling the Pens goal tending situation this season, seeing as how they don't have MAF to stand on his head anymore. I'm not too thrilled with Murray's overall play so far this playoffs. Maybe Jarry can get some playing time and force Murray to focus..specifically on those stoppable 45' shots.
But hey, what do I know, I actually picked the Caps to finally get their Cup this season so anything can happen. The odds are against the Pens beating them yet again, let alone three-peating. Besides; Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. |

Congrats Washington on winning, you deserved it.
Torts ought to call the team together for practice today and have a bag skate for their awful performance. |

Also it's weird that he liked it despite the over the top vulgarity - which I thought was the point. Other than Fight Club being the favorite movie of people who grew up to sell insurance, the most annoying movie is Wolf of Wall Street because people completely missed the point about it being a satire. |

First off, being the best doesn’t make you deserve anything. The team that battles harder and finds a way to win is the team that deserves to win.
Second, you HAVE to get off this luck soap box. By your reasoning, any team that’s either better by their record or statistics and loses to a lower seed is simply luck.
That’s just dumb. |
